Aliaksandr Mikhniuk

Aliaksandr Mikhniuk graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Nowopołock, where he specialized in choral conducting. In 2015, he completed his studies at the Belarusian State Music Academy from the class of Professor V. Klindukhov. He is the winner of the Second Prize at the 3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition (2016) and a finalist of Georgy Sviridov International Competition of Chamber Singing in Russia (2014).

Still while studying, he took part in two opera productions, performing the parts of Lensky in Eugene Onegin and Ernesto in Don Pasquale. Since 2015, he is a soloist of the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theater in Minsk, where he performs Lensky, Alfredo in La traviata, Rodolfo in La bohème, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte , Lïkov in The Tsar's Bride, Duca in Rigoletto and Roberto in Le Villi

 

His repertoire includes also oratorio parts, such as: W. A. ​​Mozart’s and G. Verdi’s Requiem, G. Rossini’s La petite messe solennelle or J. S. Bach’s Johannes-Passion. He performs songs of P. Tchaikovsky, M. Glinka, A. Gurilyov, E. Grieg, G. Fauré, R. Schubert, G. Verdi as well as Neapolitan songs. He had performed in Germany, Poland, Israel and Russia.
